Born in Maglie, Salento, Italy, he is currently based in Dubai, where he established the practice and its design activities. Licensed architect RIBA and ARB.

He previously served as an Associate at Foster + Partners in London, leading unique projects across multiple scales and functions — from early concept development to detailed design. His approach combines constructional and technical precision with a strong conceptual identity. His portfolio includes high-end residential projects (Laheq Island, The Edge), high-rise offices (Sudameris Plaza, 3 Transamerica, Catalinas Norte), and luxury hospitality (Brava Norte Tiempo).

Matteo also worked as an architect at Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) in New York, where he developed a creative approach that seamlessly integrates forward-thinking massing strategies with playful experimentation and a focus on social and environmental impact. He contributed to iconic projects such as The Spyral and Resilient by Design San Francisco.

He earned both his Master of Architecture (MArch) and Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) from Politecnico di Milano. His graduation works — “Next Stadium: Sport and Architectural Paradigm Between Utopia and Reality” and “Mediterranei: The Mediterranean Architecture as Spatial Principle in Design” — were awarded with honors and received international recognition, including the Design Innovation Award in 2020, for their originality and critical depth.
